What GoLocalPickup is

GoLocalPickup is a multi-tenant ordering platform. We provide software so shop keepers can publish menus, take orders, and manage billing for their subscription. We are not the seller of the goods or services listed on individual shops.

Shop keeper responsibility for products

Shop keepers are solely responsible for their own products and services. That includes descriptions, photos, pricing, availability, ingredients, allergens, quality, safety, legality, fulfillment, pickup or delivery arrangements, refunds, and any promises made to customers. GoLocalPickup does not manufacture, inspect, store, or guarantee what shops sell.

Shop keepers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations for their business (food handling, licensing, taxes, consumer protection, and similar rules). Customers should resolve product, order, or payment disputes with the shop they ordered from.

Accounts and shops

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or end access for misuse, unpaid bills, fraud, or content that violates these terms or the law.

Orders and payments between shops and customers

Orders are contracts between the customer and the shop keeper. When payment is arranged by the shop (for example pay on pickup), the shop sets how and when payment happens. When a shop uses a payment processor such as Stripe or PayPal, that provider’s terms also apply to the charge.

Platform subscription billing

New shop keepers get a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. After that (or anytime during the trial), you choose Monthly or Annual on the Billing page. Fees and promo codes are described on Pricing and Billing. Promo free months apply only when you subscribe to a paid plan. Taxes may apply where required.

Acceptable use

Do not use GoLocalPickup to sell illegal items, harass others, spam, scrape the service, attempt to break security, or upload content you do not have rights to use. We may remove content or shops that violate these rules.

Platform availability

We aim to keep GoLocalPickup running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change. We are not liable for lost sales, data issues outside our reasonable control, or disputes between shops and customers about products or fulfillment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, GoLocalPickup and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for product-related claims arising from a shop’s goods or services. Our total liability related to the platform subscription is limited to the fees you paid us for the subscription period in which the claim arose.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below will change when we do. Continued use of GoLocalPickup after an update means you accept the revised terms.
