Shop keepers

When you create a shop we store your name, email, password (hashed), shop profile, menu, orders, billing status, and settings you choose. We use this to run your account, process subscriptions, and send order alerts you turn on. Platform update emails are optional and controlled in Settings.

Customers

When you place an order we keep the details needed to fulfill it: your name, email and/or phone, contact preference, pickup/delivery note, items, prices, and payment status. The shop keeper uses this to confirm the order and arrange payment. GoLocalPickup also keeps this order history so shops and platform admins can look up past purchases for support and records.

We do not create a separate customer login. Your information lives with the orders you place.

Sharing

Order details are shared with the shop you ordered from. Payment processors (such as Stripe or PayPal, when a shop enables them) receive what they need to process a charge. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Orders and account records stay while the shop or platform needs them for fulfillment, billing, support, and history. Shop keepers can archive orders in their dashboard. Contact us if you need help with a correction or deletion request.
